My poor story, “Whispers,” was originally published in 2013 on a great little site called “Postcard Shorts.” Sadly, the site shut down a few years later, and after a bit I moved the story to another little flash site called “Fewer Than 500.” Earlier this year, Fewer Than 500, too, shuttered its virtual doors and once again poor little “Whispers” has had to move. So, I gave it a little touchup, after all, it is ten years old now, and republished it on Friday Flash Fiction. I only hope I haven’t doomed them as well!!
