Friday Flash Fiction is having a 100-word story contest and Gordon prodded me into an entry, so here is my little tale –
Seems like the summer is tangled up in the jet stream, the days rushing past. Another reason to eat up each and every one.
My latest story just went up this morning –
Decided that reading the news is not good for one’s health these days. So I wrote another little flash (with that in mind) instead. Hope you enjoy –
With much of the world still in at least a semi-lockdown, a different sort of Memorial Day, indeed. Maybe a good time to smile at memories from better times, or even better, a time to get ready to make some new ones.
Here’s my latest flash story, just posted on Friday Flash Fiction –
One can hope that the worst of this is behind us, and that something resembling normal is not too far off on the horizon. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I’ve been fortunate to have another little flash go up. Hope you enjoy –
With much of the world looking out, wondering when normal might peek its lost head up above the horizon, it seemed a good time to look in as well, and figure out where things stood with the new normal we’ve been dealing with these last few years. Some, obviously has been good, some not so.
For each of us to decide, I guess.
Here’s my newest story, a bit longer than the normal flash, and a bit different with where I go.
A new flash story went up today on Friday Flash Fiction. Actually it’s an older story that I wrote a while back, but one that needed a couple of fresh words before I felt it might be worth a read.
A distraction in this weird time we are going through together, yet apart.
February has not been a kind month, but this too shall pass. That whining aside, Friday Flash has just posted my latest flash story, Dog. I hope you enjoy.
I submitted my story, Isle of Palms, back in early July of last year, receiving an acceptance on is in late September. It was scheduled at the time to be published in January, but was delayed, and has finally found a page of its own. The formatting is a bit on the wonky side, but at least it’s there and a little bit of light in an otherwise gloomy February. Hope you enjoy –
